DCI brings together dance groups from across Victoria to perform in a non-competitive environment. The performance is filmed, and later broadcast on Foxtel's Aurora community channel.

Money raised on the day and from the broadcast is donated directly to the Cancer Council Victoria. Thanks to the generosity of all involved the money raised is donated to the council's endless good work including research, counselling and well- being programs.

More and more people are affected in some way by cancer. As performers we can do something to help give back.

DCI is an opportunity to showcase local talent in front of a national audience.
